A Successful Spring Concert
An audience of 200 came to enjoy a concert given by The Orchestra of Stowe Opera conducted by Robert Secret and pianist Haruko Seki on saturday evening (19th march).
The Programme included Handel's The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba, Mozart's Piano Concerto No 23 in A Major, Vaughan Williams' The Lark Ascending and Schubert's Symphony No 5 in B flat major. Both soloists - Haruko Seki and Gillian Secret (Orchestra of Stowe opera) were very well received and played in a varied and rewarding programme for both the performers and spectators.

The festival would like to thank all those who supported the concert and look forward to seeing you again throughout the festival week. If you missed this concert, please take a look at what will be available for you to see in July - The Orchestra will be making an appearance again on the 9th July.
